To project a correct image of India, Indian civilisation and culture and to help members of the Indian Community to understand and assimilate British history, culture and civilisation.
To provide a suitable forum for the projection and presentation of the common problems and viewpoints of the Indian community both to the Governments of UK and India through appropriate means and channels.
To secure and establish appropriate contacts, relations and alliances with political parties.
